We need your nominations!

As you know each year we call out to you as an organisation to tell us about someone who deserves some recognition, whether it be a player, coach, official, administrator, team, volunteer or even your whole club.

This year we also added an extra category online for “Mayors Shield”. This award recognises an individual who has excelled at their club, made outstanding contribution to sport and deemed to be an invaluable member of your club.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that a number of sports either had to delay the start of their competition or shorten it, Council has decided to extend the nominations process until April 2021 and hold an event in June 2021.

Whilst 2020 was not the most enjoyable year for many of us, we all know of someone or an organisation that has gone above and beyond during these unprecedented times and made a big difference to someone’s life or contributed significantly in our community.

Get your nominations in and let us know who deserves some recognition.
