We often struggle to find enough parent volunteers willing to help umpire our games. It is obviously something that can only be done with confidence when enough experience is gained. We understand that some parents may be more willing to help with umpiring if we can fully support their development by mentoring them until they feel ready. Tim has offered to look after anyone willing to give this a go and will make sure that you feel comfortable going into games by having some mock games that you can practice in without the pressure of it being in a competition game.
